We will pick you up from Arusha at 7:00 am, and we will drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives in the park. Your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot lunch consisting of soup, bread rolls, the main dish, fruits, and salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea, or coffee. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry riverbed for underground streams. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem—a smorgasbord for predators—and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. After lunch, continue with a game drive until the evening. We will drive you back to Arusha for drop-off.
